Launched just in time for Solar Power UK 2012, Government’s flagship energy policy, the Green Deal is coming to a building near you. Designed to reduce the ever-increasing amount of carbon emissions escaping from our energy inefficient homes and businesses, the Green Deal will provide an opportunity to install a list of measures at no upfront cost.
As several questions still hang over this new policy, three dedicated Green Deal sessions will look at exactly what you can expect from this unique policy. Specially selected speakers will share key information on how the Green Deal actually works, how it will impact the UK installer market, and, perhaps most importantly, give step-by-step guidance on how you can get involved as an accredited Green Deal assessor, provider or installer.
The Green Solutions hall will also host a energy management and monitoring session that will look at smart meters, grid load management and battery storage.
