Steve is a Principal Consultant at BRE, working on a variety of renewable energy projects. He was a significant contributor to the setting up of the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and continues to provide expert input into the MCS PV standards group, as well as training and technical support for assessors. He has an in-depth knowledge of the theory and practice of the following microgeneration technologies for which he provides consultancy services and regularly produces or contributes to publications in the areas of photovoltaics, solar thermal, small wind turbines and heat pumps.
